Kat Von D wedding: 'Go Big or Go Home' artist plans unique ceremony, Kat Von D's wedding will be an "underwater-themed" ceremony, with 200 friends and Family invited, reported People on April 15. The 31-year-old LA Ink tattoo artist is engaged to Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer, 32-year-old Joel Zimmerman, a.k.a. Deadmau5. You'll recognize Deadmau5 by the mouse head he wears when he performs.

It would come as no surprise to many that the couple is planning a non-traditional wedding. Reportedly, the ceremony will be based on H.P. Lovecraft's short story "The Call of Cthulhu," involving a character that is half-man, half-octopus. The wedding will be "the furthest thing from traditional," says Kat Von D....REPORTED....examiner.

Fans of the beautiful Von D are happy to see her moving on with her love life after being in a relationship with alleged serial cheater Jesse James. James is now married to drag racer Alexis DeJoria.

Follow the tattoo artist on her Twitter, and you'll find a woman who is striving for the positive. "Today is another day to try and shed as much positive light into the world!" she tweets on April 16. Her new book, "Go Big or Go Home: Taking Risks in Life, Love, and Tattooing" is out now.
